Help with SOAURA

How to reach a person, manage your subscription, report something, or delete your account.

Contact us

support@soaura.app

Email us about anything — a problem in the app, a question about your subscription, a report you have made, or a request to delete your account. Tell us the email address your account uses and we will be able to help you faster.

Your subscription

SOAURA Premium is sold through Apple as an auto-renewing subscription, and Apple — not SOAURA — holds the billing relationship.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions.

Neither the app nor this website can cancel an Apple subscription for you. Cancelling is done in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions on your device, and it takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for.

If you have paid and Premium is not showing, open the paywall in the app and choose Restore purchases. If that does not resolve it, email us and include the Apple Account the purchase was made with.

For a refund, contact Apple directly at reportaproblem.apple.com. Refunds for App Store purchases are Apple's to grant.

Reporting content or people

Every song, album, artist, post, comment, journey and person in SOAURA can be reported from the same place: open the item's menu and choose Report. One form covers all of them, so you never have to work out which kind of report you need.

You will be asked to pick the problem in plain language. Reports about harm — abuse, hateful content, harassment, anything unsafe — go to moderation. Reports that something is simply wrong about a song, album or artist go to catalog correction instead, so a factual fix is not treated as a complaint about a person.

You can also block another person from their profile. A block works in both directions and is immediate: once it is in place, neither of you appears to the other anywhere in SOAURA.

If something needs attention faster than a report allows, or if you are reporting on behalf of someone else, email support@soaura.app and describe what you saw and where.

Deleting your account

You can delete your SOAURA account at any time from your account settings. Deletion is permanent and it is not a deactivation — you cannot sign back into the same account afterwards.

What deletion removes: everything you made for other people to see or use — your posts, your comments, your recordings, your auralists and the journeys you kept private — together with your profile and your sign-in.

What deletion keeps, and why:

  • Your classifications are kept, with your name removed from them. When you tag a song with a feeling, that classification becomes part of how SOAURA understands the song for everyone. It stays, permanently detached from you and no longer attributable to you. While you have an account you can always remove an individual classification yourself.
  • A journey you published stays published. Making a journey public hands it to SOAURA to keep; it outlives the account that created it.
  • The record that you accepted the Terms is retained. We keep the fact and the date of your acceptance, and of your deletion, because it is the evidence that the agreement existed. It is not used for anything else.

If you would rather we did the deletion for you, or you cannot sign in, email support@soaura.app from the address on the account.

Deleting your SOAURA account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Cancel it separately in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions.
